{:Dajon Kudos:} BC Events Interview

All of you who know me, see how I manage juggle all of my many interests and endeavors, while raising my little guy and maintaining a career within the MN Army National Guard. I often get wierd looks when telling people what "I do" and people say, "You should focus on one thing." Well, I found out that I'm not crazy, just driven.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bridget Connell of BC Events, Inc. last week. After meeting her, I left inspired and knew that 2011 is going to be a great year. She's an event planner, a bag designer and amazing supporter of local businesses. She's even on the Board of Directors for Women Entrepreneurs of Minnesota (WeMN).

Anyhow, she interviewed me and featured me on her blog, so I thought I'd share it with you all. Make sure to also check out her site: bc-eventsinc.com Enjoy!

P.S. I couldn't leave a post without a picture...here's the other side of me that most of you don't see!

{:Dajon Photography:} Addison ~ 6 months old

One of my resolutions this year is to become a better photographer. In order to hold myself accountable, I'm posting photos from my last session of my beautiful niece Addison. She's 6 months old and such a fun and beautiful girl.

Baby in a blanket...one of my faves!

So happy!

Beautiful eyelashes!

And I'll leave you with one last happy baby smile!

{:Dajon Design:} 2010 Holiday Greetings

After posting my New Year's greeting, I realized that I had to post some of the Christmas cards I created this year. I love creating these, knowing that they will bring smiles to family and friends througout the season. I hope you enjoy!

I love Christmas verses and lyrics, so that's exactly what inspired this card!
{:For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.:}

*I didn't take the photos for this card.*

For this next card, we visited the beautiful town of Stillwater to get this photograph. Can you tell how much I like typography? I also ordered these cards from Mpix.com and printed them on their metallic photo paper...amazing! I wish there were a way for me to show you how awesome this paper is...but it just doesn't translate to the screen. =-)

And finally, here is our Christmas card. It was interesting trying to take this photo in my makeshift studio using my camera timer. hee hee I'm surprised I wasn't sweating in this photo! This was also printed on metallic paper, which really gave it a fun 3D effect.

Well, that's all for now! I truly hope you all are enjoying this holiday season with the people you love!

{:Joy to the World!:}
